Christiano Ronaldo, Manchester United's star, grabbed UEFA's European Club Footballer of the Year. He was also honoured with the Best Striker award for scoring 42 goals last season, eight of them in the UEFA Champions League.
I still believe that Rooney is the better option as a penalty-kick taker. Just my 2c.
